Important components of tube ice machine
The tube ice machine is mainly composed of an evaporator, an upper water tank, a water storage tank, an ice cutter, an ice basket, etc. Among them, the evaporator is the core component of the tube ice machine and is responsible for the ice making process. Its shell is usually rolled and welded from alloy steel plates, and contains a group of seamless steel tube clusters with a small thermal expansion coefficient inside. These tubes serve as channels for the refrigerant, causing water to freeze into ice on the inner wall of the tubes.

Working principle:
1. Ice making process: The water in the upper water tank swirls down along the inner wall of the tube. At the same time, the liquid refrigerant directly evaporates and cools between the tube shells of the evaporator, causing the water on the inner wall of the tube to freeze into ice.
2. De-icing process: When de-icing is required, the high-pressure superheated gas discharged from the compressor is introduced into the upper part of the evaporator, and the liquid refrigerant is discharged from the bottom of the evaporator under the action of pressure. Subsequently, the gaseous refrigerant is introduced into the bottom of the evaporator to heat the ice-making tube cluster, causing the ice strips in the tube to slide downward after being heated. At this time, the ice cutting blade rotates to cut the ice strips into tube ice segments and crushed ice cubes, which fall into the ice basket.
